    BlackBerry BOLD 9900 won’t start, is it due to battery?

    HI, I am having blackberry bold 9900 from last some months but never ever gotten any issue with the phone but since last two days it just won’t start at all, and I am not getting what could be the problem, but still when I was searching about the same on internet for the solution I came to know that there could be some problem with the battery of the phone. So am I having problem just because of battery? Any suggestion for resolving the same will be appreciated.

    If you have tried eliminating the battery, used substitute , then charging it and after a few hours restarting it and it still gives you not anything, I know this is what you have said you did, just repeating it then the only thing I could recommend is to attempt the steps again, but this time while starting the phone, hold down the Caps Shift lower left up arrow, the Space Bar lower right space, the Delete Bar upper right, left pointing arrow and the On Button power key, all at the identical time, until you observe the BB logo and then release them. This will reset the phone, so I hope that you have made a backup of the phone in case any information is gone. If this does not work, then I would recommend you contact the nearest NCC or the place you purchased the phone.

    Though I am agree with the above user but still I would say there could be so many reason associated with such problems and which is quite difficult to find out as well. So I cant say as this could be some problem with the phone’s battery. But still it is obvious thing to test the battery you are having and then only try using the phone or else it can also make huge problem which can lead to damage other hardware as well.

    For testing you have to simply remove the battery and make use another one and see whether the phone is getting started or not, so from that point only you’ll get the idea about the same whether there is some problem with the batter or not, and do the same in case of charger as well.

    I think there could be some problem with the mobiles firmware , thus have you ever tried reinstalling it?

    it seems like there could be some problem with the hardware of your mobile rather than the firmware, because if there could be some problem with the firmware then surely it should be resolved as soon as you reinstall the firmware in the mobile. I am not completely aware about the phone but still as mentioned above you should try to make a firmware reinstallation and if you are getting the same error with the phone then off course there could be some problem with the hardware only which need to be replaced. And I would recommend you that you should not get it repaired from any other outside technician, because there isn’t any guarantee that you’ll get the original product so off course from the service center you ‘ll get the original product along with that all the service rather treatment will be given for free of cost if the mobile will be in the warranty period.

    it might be possible as there could be some problem with the data you have stored in the phone, thus will you please let me know do you remember as whatever you have done and after that, this is happening?

    You should try to start the phone without inserting the memory card.

    I have done almost all the thing possibly known to me but still nothing appears to be working, I think today I must have to contact the service center for the same. Anyways thanks for the suggestion.
