Capacitive Buttons not lighting up on touch

I just saw in someone else phone? Extract only when you need to light up my htc vivid only I required in a dim room. It can be able to recovering from the brightness sensor. My encourage is that should be some light up so whenever you like to hit a button. I may be a some setting that I am missing a feature from the phone?

That can be a new technique that the HTC is try to do now- on their newer ROMS, and there should be some hardware program on hTC vivid or some hardware buttons are programmed to light up in a dim room, to save a battery from brightness sensor, the thing is that in the bright rooms also you can able to see a buttons at anyhow, so that why it is unnecessary backlight and just the wastes of the battery life.

So not exactly but the new preset should be considering the other device are starting to do so well. For instance the ATrix 2 they have done this thing on that phone in the dark room the buttons will not light up until you press on them. So all the manufacturer need to consider that ongoing new thing with the most to save the battery life without throwing in a larger battery life.

For the ambient light that triggers backlight can be able to customized, although it take a slight knowledge of the ADB and the missing with APK files. So that you can be able to do with that the decompile framework. Res.apk. and edit the arrays xml file to make your buttons and the higher level of the light to be ambient then the recompile the apk and able to push reverse to your handset. And the stock of the Rom is probably configured as something like below, which I turn on the back light only at the lowest ambient light level.

I have previously got an experienced this with mu handset but I got that idea its normal. So in brighter environment the keys of handset don’t light up at all they do when I cover the handset and place a light sensor of phone on a dark room.
