Is it possible to install ice cream sandwich update in LG Revolution

HI, I am a former LG Revolution user and really I like the phone too much but still when it comes to its operating system, it is running gingerbread right now but still when I was searching about the same I came to know about the newer version named “ice cream sandwich update”, so I wanted to ask you as whether this update is available for this phone or not? or we just have to stick with the version we are having right now?

I think the phone would be able to accommodate this update for sure, because when I seen this model’s description on internet I came to know that the phone comprises 1GHz processor with Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon GPU which is quite good for the phone, thus according to me the phone must be having this update, have you ever tried to search the same thing on internet? I mean to say on their official website?

Because see I personally believe as information regarding the phone and compatible OS would be given from their official website itself rather than any other site. And that’s why I would like to suggest you that you should have a glance at least.

Though I am agree with the above user but still have you ever tried to search the update from the mobile itself, because see whenever we try to update the firmware through the mobile itself it just tries to search the update and after that will let you aware whether the update is available or not.

You’ll observe a screen showing the current software detail in your phone and the detail about the software which is available so that you can have idea about the software which is available. This is also called as OTA update and I think you also must be aware about it, isn’t it?

Exactly you can simply contact you to your manufacturer’s service center as well for the same query whether the software is available or not, and rather than websites it would be quite precised information that you’ll get.
