Can’t enable integrated GPS in Nokia X7

Integrated GPS module not working in my Nokia X7. I am able to use services like Assisted GPS, wifi but OVI maps not working, whenever I try to route it shows “Waiting for GPS”. My phone doesn’t show any indicator of GPS in the indication panel corner. I know it requires a large open space but I tried at open space too, but same problem occurred.

Even I was facing the same problem but somehow I managed to solve his problem. I just switched of my phone and when I turned it on GPS started working. It took around 5 minutes but it worked properly. You don’t need to format your phone or re-install ovi maps, Just restart your phone one time it will work.

You can use alternate option GPRS by paying some more money and remember to disable that when you are on roaming. Also check your ovi maps settings and make sure that they are not the reason for the problem you are facing. You can also do one thing, just uninstall ovi maps and install the latest maps but try this after making sure that maps settings are not the reasons for the problem.

Last thing you can do is format your cell phone using *#7370# and re-install all maps and make sure to take backup of your mobile phone so that you can re-install that and will be able to get your data.
