I am not able to perform recovery function in LG LT20 Tablet

I have been using the LG LT20 Tablet from a long time and I think that the performance of the tablet has gone down suddenly and I have started experiencing it from some day’s so now I am willing to format the pc and I have tried using the recovery function which comes with the LT20.I had pressed f11 during the boot up and I have even tried to re-install the Windows but without formatting it and then during the recovery I got a error message saying that the recovery process could not read a certain file. Is there anyone who has faced the same problem and has an idea about the same and can help me out with this? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I will suggest you to first Run a scandisk and make a complete scan of the pc and then try to the recovery function which comes with the LT20 but if it does not help then I will suggest you top reset the computer and even if it does not help then I you can try to use the recovery function with a clean format and then check if you are able to get it work. Just try to perform the above method and then let me know if it works or not. If it works then well and good but if not then note down the error you get so I could help you out with other solutions.

I have the same problem and I have already ran a complete scan an even I was getting a error message saying that the recovery process could not read a certain file and while running the scan I have also got some "unreachable sector" errors I don’t know why and then later when I tried using the recovery function with a clean format then the computer screen got changed in to a white screen with huge red letters spelling out "FAIL" and then the computer started beeping simultaneously. I don’t know what is wrong with it. Is there a way to solve it out? Any further help will be appreciated.

Just check if you are getting that simultaneously beep in some kind of format I mean is it beeping for 8 times and 7 times combination if yes then just take a look below:

• 8 Beeps(Video memory error) Which means that The BIOS is not able to write to the frame buffer memory on the video card.
• 7 Beep( Virtual mode exception error) which means that you will have to send the system for repair.

Even I think that there is something wrong with your hard drive because the problems that you are facing is basically caused by the hard drive.I will suggest you to check the brand of the hard drive and then navigate to the manufacturer website and then download their drive diagnostics and if that does not help then you can also go to the Seagate website and then download Seatools. After you get it just Burn it to a CD and then use it to test the hard drive and then check if you are able to detect any kind of physical damage. Just check it out and then let me know so I can suggest you to solve it out. Hope that helps.

As far as I know the 'recovery systems' are stored on the hard drive and you are not able to perform the recovery option then I think that there is something wrong with the hard drive itself it might have got corrupted.I ma having a Toshiba and I am having a utility to burn a CD/DVD copy of the recovery partition which I generally use when I face such problems but then in your case if you have not created the disc before than you can’t even try it out. I will suggest you top contact the tech support and then see if you can buy a recovery cd from them.If you get the cd than I think that you will be able to solve your problem.
