Unable to charge and turn ON sansa clip plus

I have a sansa clip plus. I had bought it because I like to hear music. Yesterday I observed that my clip did not turn on. I turned on the phone by holding the power button but it went off again after few seconds. It showed low battery and got turned off. The battery was fully charged. The screen got on only for few seconds. I didn’t see any auto play message popping up. When I tried to start the phone, I couldn’t do it successfully. It was like battery low again and got shutdown. Please help.

Well I suspect that there is some issue with the charger. I would ask you to try to charge the player with an usb cell phone charger. I think this will make a change and will not get shutdown

I think whatever that you have mentioned is related to the battery. I think the battery has gone faulty. Please tell me that since when are you using this clip? I think you have used it a lot and so it has now got old or rough. I would suggest you to check the battery first. Many a times all this kind of things happens because of battery failure. So I think you should try to charge with the ac adapter. I think doing this might help. Please tell me if it doesn’t charge and if the problem doesn’t get resolved so that I can give you some other better solutions. Unfortunately there is no firmware update kind of thing present otherwise that could have helped. All the best

I think you need to call the customer support for help. So try to contact Sandisk Tech Support for a warranty replacement. If your clip is in warranty period then I think you might get it replaced for free.

I have heard this kind of issue with sansa clip previously also. But still haven’t got any good suggestions. I had this issue and I had to sell it off. I would suggest you to try to reset as I know that few times this has also helped.
