superdroid 1.0 ROM for HTC chacha

Hi, I have bought the new mobile called HTC chacha and want to install a new ROM as I have mentioned in the title, but I don’t know whether it is available or not because the thing is like I have just read it from any external sources only thus I am not sure about it however.

And By the way if suppose the ROM is available for the device then what will the benefits rather feature in this ROM? And from where can I get it for my HTC chacha?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Yeah I have also heard about this ROM for the mobile you have, but I think it is not available yet, but still according to me you should try to get some more information on this, so that you can figure out whether it is launched or not.

I would like to tell you about the same as this ROM is available on internet and that you can download for your mobile. as I have done the same thing and thus would like to tell you about some of the features from this ROM.

thanks for the suggestion dude and I have the one that you have mentioned but still I have heard that there are too many application and the feature they have removed from this ROM, what are those feature and why they have removed it?

Anyways it would be good if someone mentioned step wise procedure to install this Rom in the mobile.

Why not, I would like to mentioned over here, just follow the below mentioned steps.

• first of all you have to download “superdroid_1.0_signed.zip” from the internet and then transfer it to the root of your SD card and make sure fastboot is turned off.
  
  
• Reboot your device into the recovery menu.
  
  
• Set a partition on your sdcard in the advanced settings for the a2sd and at this moment I would like to advise you that you should wipe both the cache and dalvik cache in order to avoid bootloop issues.
  
  
• As soon as you done with it, you have to choose .zip and pick the superdroid_1.0_signed.zip for installation and once installed , reboot your device. and you are ready to use the ROM.

I don’t know what could be the reason as they have removed some of the feature, but assuming as in order to put new one they might have deleted another one.

And I don’t know all of them, but some of them are, Google books, HTC Tips widget, Pro tips, Stocks widget, Tell HTC, Trends widget, HTC twitter, Flickr
Sound recorder, HTC photo widget.

Thanks for the suggestion but really I don’t know what actually went wrong but I am having problem with 1.18 update. Any idea what could be the problem. everything was perfect, I mean to say I have gotten the ROM and almost installed in the device but don’t know what went wrong that makes such problem.

Exactly, I was also having the same problem, and there are some quick fixes as well that you can apply,

1. Remove Superuser's update and clear all data.
   
   
2. You can try to reinstall superuser from android market.
   
   
3. Try to enable 'Auto-rotate screen' on the Display settings and if that doesn’t help try to modify the screen to the portrait mode.
   
   
4. Run Superuser and allow permission to update its own and then restart the handset.
