Unable to record HD videos on samsung galaxy s2

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy s2 and by means of that I am not able to record HD videos though the mobile as whenever I shoot any with the resolution of 1280*720 or higher than that it goes quite laggy, and this is not the only threat I have found rather whenever I try to sync it audio goes out and dropped frames appears on the screen,

Any Idea what could be the problem with the device as I have updated the firmware and after that I have notices all such changes in the device.

How do I resolve it?

I think there must be some problem with the firmware that you have installed in the device, though there could be some other problem as well but still it’s better to troubleshoot from the software. Thus I am not saying that you should try to update the firmware again in the mobile but instead of that you should try to reset the device.

You can simply first of try with soft reset and if suppose didn’t found any difference in the performance you can make a hard rest as well.

I personally believe that you should make a backup for sure, before resetting the phone because, while you make a reset the device will wiped out all the data from the phone in order to recover the previous data and the settings.

I was also having the same problem with the phone as I set the Exposure value to -2 and everything seems perfect, thus I would recommend you the same thing, as you should set the values that you can have under camera settings.

Are you getting the Videos perfectly played on your mobile? Because if yes then let me tell you as this not the problem that you are having rather just you need to set some of the setting in the device in order to play it on the computer.

Because see the thing is like both the device uses different configuration to play the same videos, I mean to say the bit rate, frequency that you have set, audio bit rate, codecs, frame rate.
Thus for playing those videos you must have to either convert them or make setting in any of the player, either in the mobile or in the phone.

I am agree with the above user as if suppose you are still having the same problem even after configuring the setting in the device then it might be surely some problem in the firmware that you have installed, thus you should try to install the same version again in the phone and if suppose another one is available you can simply install that as well.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, as you were right there were some problem due to the settings only and was been disappeared as I changed them.
