HOW TO ROOT HTC DESIRE S RUNNING on Android 2.3.3

I have purchased the new HTC desire S Smartphone three months ago. I don’t have any problem with the performance of the product. I like the design and the model of the device that’s why I purchased it. Actually I want to go to the next level of my Android operating system by the use of rooting system. For that reason I search on the internet but I don’t get any program or forum to get the proper solution. I heard that HTC desire s doesn’t have that functionality to upgrade. And the reason behind that may be the bootloader. So I cannot get the proper idea to solve this. Can anyone there who can give me some advice to solve this problem. Please help me.

I read your problem and come to know that I can give you some proper solution for solving your problem. I think it is possible to root the desire S using an XTC Clip. I also have the red one for my use. But I want to tell you the it cannot be reversible so it can cause to invalidate your warranty. I think there is no proper solution or you can say software available for this reason for HTC desire S. even though you can use the AlphaRevX for better experience. But I don’t think that is freely available for you.

I think I can give you some information to gain S-OFF on HTC desire s with the help of AplphaRevX Beta 2. This is the available solution for you. First you have to make sure that ADB is installed on your device. Then you have to download the HTC sync. And then install and synchronize the phone with the PC. But for that you have to install the required drivers for that. Once the sync is complete, uninstall HTC Sync while keeping the drivers. Then you have to go to AlpharevX website and download the Windows or Linux version as per your choice. Then you have to unzip the and save the content in it on your PC. Then you have to connect your phone to PC in USB debugging mode.you can do this from Settings > Applications > development menu. After this release AlphaRevX.exe and follow the onscreen instructions to the core of winning S-OFF on your device. After AlphaRev identifies the device and calls for Beta key, copy the serial number of brackets and the use of AlphaRevX way to generate beta key. Click the Windows download option and enter the serial number on the form that opens after the download.

I want to provide some external information that might be help you in fixing your issue. You can use the APK tool for your purpose. The APK GingerBreak is a wrapper around the field recently published GingerBreak, which aims to achieve root access on gingerbread. This particular operation can work in different versions and honeycomb Froyo well. The APK works as follows. The APK keeps the right files in the right place which useful to run the exploit. The APK also runs the exploit. The exploit try to attain root access. after completion the exploit remounts /system as read-write and then it runs the installer script. sometime the installer script try to install the super binary and superuser APK. And then it reboots the system.

If you are using the APK then you have to know some important thing. Here I am giving some of them. You have to use USB debugging tool enabled on your device. You must have an SD card - if that fails then try to format the SD card into your PC or change to a new SD card is the best option.
Remember that the APK must be installed in the device, the SD card. This process may take some minutes to run, but not more than 10 minutes, if it does, then you have logcat one, and then restart the device. On rare occasions, suppose the device does not restart, you may have to root. To check manually you have to pull battery after 20 minutes or so it can being caught. Always try to reboot between attempts to root. While root access can be achieved due to the locked boot loaders, effusive, S-ON, and other things that can still work on the device. For purposes temproot, use the exploit binary (link below), not APK.
The exploit GingerBreak not be used to achieve temproot and still use the device. Vold is fscks who do not want to be running on. Try to restart.

I think there are so many solutions are available for you in the market. You can try one of them. I can give you some of the list of them. You can use the APK technology which is most suitable for you. if you don’t like it then you can try for using AlphaRevX tool. I don’t have enough information about it but it also very useful in this kind of cases. But I am telling you that is not a cost efficient so please keep it as a last option. You can also make use of AplphaRevX Beta 2 but for that your pc has the ADB installed on it. And there are other requirements also responsible for that. I think this might helpful to you for fixing your issue. Thank you.
