Blackberry 9900 battery life make me worry

I am having a blackberry bold 9900 since last few months and really the battery life made me too worried. As I when I was about to bought any mobile the considerable thing was the battery but I can just utilize the device up to 2 days only, not more than that and I am not able to figure out whether this is the normal one or I am having some problem with the battery, I think 2 days are not enough with such a smartphone, so thus help me get information about the battery performance in the device mentioned. See it’s depend upon the usage of the phone, are you getting my point, if you continuously make use of any particular application which generally use any other device like router or the internet modem then this will drained the batter very quickly. and 2 days is like more than enough if you are using WIFI or Bluetooth for internet connection. in fact I have the same mobile that I charge everyday because of the usage I have for the phone.

I would like to tell you about the battery life of the phone you have, so you can compare your usage and figure whether it is working perfectly or draining quickly. you can have GSM talk Time up to 6.3 hours, and with the Standby mode it will function up to 12.8 days. With UMTS talk time you can have it functioning up to 5.9 hours and same as the GSM if you put it standby only. Along with this you can have continuous up to 50 hours of music playback and up to 7.4 hours of video playback.

I would say what a good explanation given by the above user, as I am completely agree with him, and you should test your usage with this time so you can simply figure out the results about the battery, or else you can have another option as well to test the battery and the power consumption, like you can try to put another battery in the phone and make use of it as you were doing with yours and see till how much day your mobile can survive, if you got more than two days with the same utilization that means there is some problem in the battery you have.

I have the same opinion as the above user as you should try to test the battery and off course your device as well so that you can understand the vulnerability if there is any. And you can get out of this rid as soon as possible. And I would like to advised you like you should always charge the battery fully, or else after some time the non utilized part of the batter would be damage and will leads to decrease the performance of the battery and you should not charge it more than 3 HRS.

Thanks for the suggestion guys as I have tested with the other batteries but still I am not able to figure out the difference because they just work 3 to 3 hours more than the usual one. So is it problem with the battery or my one is perfectly working? And I always used to charge it fully not partially, in fact before using the phone I have already read the manual for using the phone effectively but didn’t found the answer which actually I get from here thus thanks again.

According to me the battery you have is perfectly Ok, because 2 to 3 hours you can simply add or less it while testing, but if there would be much more difference between the time like about 5 to 6 HRS. that means there is some problem with the battery but if suppose you still have doubt on the same you can have option to visit the support center and test your device there, so that you can have clear idea about the problem If there is any.
