NO ALARMS with Calendar Appointments in NOKIA N900

I am using Nokia mobile phone because I can manage all my office related work in this mobile phone. Some days before I have upgrade my mobile phone to PR 1.3 and after upgrading the mobile phone my mobile phone has started giving me problems. When I synchronized my calendar after upgrading the device from that time I am not getting alarm during the meeting notification. If anyone facing the same problem and has solution then please let me know.

According to me something went wrong while synchronizing your calendar from your computer to your mobile phone and that is why I would suggest you that delete all the entries from your calendar and then restart your mobile phone. Now after restarting the mobile phone you have to synchronize your calendar again and after synchronizing the calendar check whether you are getting the same problem or not?

In recent days so many people has experienced this problem while synchronizing from the Nokia OVI suite. I will recommend you to try to synchronize from Nokia PC suite Instead of synchronizing your all stuffs from Nokia OVI suite. If you don’t have Nokia PC suite in your computer or laptop then you can download it from the official website of the Nokia. Now after downloading the Nokia OVI suite you have to install it in your computer or laptop and after installing the Nokia PC suite check whether you are getting the same problem or not?

I am also a user of Nokia N900 mobile phone and I have tried exact above steps to solve my problem and after synchronizing the calendar from Nokia OVI suite when I checked for alarm for my Appointments at that time it worked flawlessly. Are you getting this problem with calendar alarm only or you are getting this problem with your normal alarm also? If you are facing the same problem with all the alarm in your mobile phone then I think there is nothing wrong with your synchronization process but there must be something wrong with your Nokia N900 mobile phone and if you are getting this problem with only calendar alarm then there is something going wrong while synchronizing your device.

After going through your post when I tried to solve this issue by re-synchronizing my calendar with my Nokia n900 mobile phone at that time also I get the same problem with my calendar alarm, now after that I have downloaded Nokia PC site in my mobile phone and after downloading that in my computer I have installed and then I have synchronized my calendar again but still facing the same issue. Now please suggest what should I do?

After synchronizing the calendar from Nokia PC suite also if you are facing the same problem with calendar alarm then I think you need to reset your mobile phone to solve this issue.
