How to burn CDs with my HP TouchSmart 600-1050?

Hey hi friends, I am using HP TouchSmart 600-1050 PC at my home. I was assuming that my computer can burn the CDs. I had tried for that but not getting any success. When I was trying to burn the CD with my computer, it was giving an error that ‘connects a burner’. I am getting confused with error that I have to pay again for the new burner. Can anyone suggest me what to do now? Can I go for buying the new burner or I have to make some changes on my PC setting? Explain please.

Hey, if you want to burn the CDs with your HP TouchSmart 600-1050, then make sure that your computer has the CD burner. To check that your computer can burn the CDS or not, you have to first check on the CD ROM. Check that it can burn the CDs or not, if you are not able to check on the CD ROM then you can also check on the CD ROM case. It contains the detail about what CD ROM can do. If you are sure that it can burn the CDs then there will be some errors with your system setting, again make a check on the system setting for burning the CD.

I will suggest you to check that your computer can burn the CDs or not. If not then go for the internal burners. Internal burners are not portable and they are less expensive. They uses the IDE connection on the computer for burn the CDs. With the help of the internal burners you can read or write the CDs. You cannot move the internal burners. If your computer CD ROM is not able to burn the CDs then I will suggest you to go for the internal burners.

If your HP touchsmart 600-1050 is giving an error to burn the CDs, then I will recommend you to uninstall all the programs which you have for the reading or writing CD/DVD on your system. I think that especially Nero have this problem for writing the CDs or DVD hue to some supporting file error. If you don’t have any CD writer program on your system then try to install it. if you are sure that your system have the burner for CD/DVD, then check the connection for your burner. If sure with the connection then try to check for the burner software. Try to uninstall the software which you are using for burning the CDs/DVD. After that again install it and try burning the CD/DVD again. If still it is giving the same error then I will suggest you to take a new burner for you system. You can also go for the external burner. If you don’t want to use the internal burner again then try to use the external burner for your HP touchsmart 600-1050.
