How to transfer contacts from one HTC my Touch 4G Slide to another one?

Well after reading my query, you guys might possibly come to know about the technical knowledge, so please just help me out, with this query, I have been having some problem while transferring contact list from one post to another , I did not had this problem before with nokia as had an complete idea about the usage of the phone , but m, here I have too HTC my touch 4g phone one with my dad and other with me , recently I got to transfer contact from my phone to dad , but it failed , does anyone know who to do that ,or at least what is causing this to happen .

Does anyone else know about this problem here, I have been having same problem here, but it seems hat that it is not that difficult to transfer, contact list from one Smartphone to another, and I think that there are many ways of doing the same here, out of which the simplest one is the use of an micro sd card as this might help you to just transfer the contact to the memory card and then put the memory card in the another phone and voila your work is done.

This contact list transfer can also be done with the help of Bluetooth it is pretty simple to do that, you just need to select the contacts in the phone and then on the Bluetooth on the other device, but remember to keep your Bluetooth ON both the devices so that you can receive the updates about the same, I have used it with the blackberry Smartphone that I have having, so I guess that shall help you out in an better way.

Hey, thanks for all the replies that you have given me, but I am sorry to day that none of the replies worked for, I have tried to transfer the contacts through micro sd card this would but the files that are transferred just don‘t get detected here, I have been having the same problem with the other suggestion that an user have stated here , the Bluetooth option is just not available in the HTC my touch 4g phone .

If you want to completely move your contact from one place to another then I guess there are mainly 4 place s where you contact is stored, that is Sim card the Google and the phone memory and sometimes also cache memory .so just remember to move the contacts from the each list as this might cause you an data herriachical problem which is more over linked to this account so just remember the four place s ,as you might need to delete this data once you have done transferring the data.

I guess this method would surely help you out , I have been doing this since long , and I don ‘t think that it would fail , so here is what you have got to do , you just need to go to the contacts menu and then transfer the same to the sim card , there you would get an option of keeping the original or moving the original contact select keep the original contact after that transfer that to sim card and then put this sim card back to this phone and transfer this back , this might just do the job.

Hey, thanks, your suggestion just worked for me I guess that it would be really helpful for me to that transferring your account to this , I am having a really tough time synchronizing the contact that are been storedon my phone , I wish there was a better way out , I think that though it is not a perfect way , I was capable of finding an solution for it .
