Most of the data files in hidden directories on the sdcard, so you have to change the file manager on your computer that lets you see hidden files, then copy and paste should work. Since I do not know which team that you are using I can not help you with specific instructions on how to enable file manager to show hidden files, but you should be able to obtain that information through a quick search on Google. Just make sure you copy the entire contents of the sdcard will replace the stock that comes with sdcard myTouch contains data files for some applications (ie games) to work properly

There may be a better way to do this, but there are applications markets that enables backup and restore SMS messages. You can run the backup and restore of your N1 MT4G. People occasionally complain about the loss of SMS MT4G old, so having one of these applications in place may not be a bad idea, in general. We hope you enjoy your new phone hopefully this would be helping you out a bit.

I would like to share up my experience and what all I have been facing like so it is about I just removed the chip from the old phone and have it in the new, but old is 4 GB and 8 GB again, so if I could successfully transfer all that information, it would be an improvement . I know how to connect your phone to a computer, but I cannot find there any information on the chip. Above all I'm looking for all photos, but the more the better. I wonder if the ancient texts are in there too, since it does not seem to transfer w / my SIM card. Not sure if I can, but if I could transfer applications as well, that would save a nuisance. This would tell you something as all this I have been doing when I was facing the same problem.

Text messages are stored on the device, not the sdcard, you cannot get from the device directly unless the root but you can use third party software on the market for backup and restore SMS and MMS, or simply you can move your SIM card (this SMS but not MMS) and will be able to restore them from the SIM card to the new device. This would surely provide you some idea about the search you have been asking for.

Even better quality picture taking capability.1GB RAM or higher, or whatever the memory used to store applications in a process of action phone.2GHz or twice the performance of the Nexus with the life of the battery itself. Yes, a little less now, but with two batteries, is habitable. Response of a better balance of brightness and contrast and the ability to take photos in low light, fast, no, no more megapixels.
