Beep sound while typing on Lenovo ThinkPad X220

Few days ago I have got Lenovo thinkpad x220. From the first day I got a problem: I have observed a beep sound following hitting a definite combination of keys. I am not certain, if it is the x220 otherwise windows 7 associated though. The beep happens each time I hit a 3-key mixture. However it too happens while typing some other words. Following the beep, not anything else occurs. I can carry on writing and no error message otherwise whatever thing besides is coming up. Any help?

A temporary solution for me was to lower overall CPU speed in power-manager (selected 'low' as the maximum CPU speed), which apparently also Northbridge voltage. If the speed is higher than 0.9375V is the sound / beep is back. The noise is constant, when I select the highest CPU speed (power 1.075) in the energy manager is the sound / beep intermittently when I Adaptive (voltage from 0.9735V to 1.075V) Choose.

I once tested a disarming the speaker button key and then in the long speaker menu (task bar) the volume is disabled and enabled again - and suddenly the sound was back. I suspect that the speaker mentioned the internal button or turn off the hardware side, not the fact that Windows can influence (or knowing about it - otherwise it would indeed appear to be somewhere). Since it can be multiple causes, the user can describe as high-frequency noises, people must try to isolate the noise either from side to side the USB controller or the CPU speed step function.

You may have heard various reasons, in fact, this "normal" (a normal physical reaction). It is "annoying", but you do this in several cases, for example a car where the center support heats up when you are driving long time, because the gearbox. It is possible that, once your laptop is on, the noise decreases. It is even possible that after a time completely gone and it is even conceivable that it never goes away...

For this issue I think that you need to make a change in the bios, as described on the above website. Restart the laptop and repeatedly press the F10 key Lenovo Thinkpad logo appears to the movies to go. Then, use the arrow keys to 'System Configuration' and press enter. Use the arrow "CPU C4 Function 'and press enter. Select "DISABLE the CPU C4 Function 'and press enter. Press F10 to save settings. I hope you have sufficient information and that the information will lead to the desired solution. If not, then I hear your reaction be happy with the additional information. On this basis, I'll do my best possible solution to the indicated problem.

It is probably your nature sounds. If you plug in your laptop and get it so only the battery lets you run a big chance that the beep is gone. The very fact is caused by your work with a grounded plug. If so, then you better buy an external sound card. An audio interface, so to speak. This works via USB and have far less problems with sound earth. I have the current week bought a pair. Should this be the solution, I still have one.
