How to backup text message from Nokia X2 ?

Hi I have been using the Nokia X2 from last few months but the problem with the phone is like we cannot save the unlimited messages in the mobile, and as the memory gets full I have to delete the important messages from the mobile, so is there any way through which can make backup of the text messages to some another device such as PC? if yes please tell me how we can do that, any suggestion would be appreciated.

No I think you don’t know that we can save unlimited messages in the mobile, but for that you need to change the memory location for the text messages. I mean to say by default it comes to the phone memory thus it can store only the specified amount of messages in the mobile, but if suppose you want to save more message you need to change the memory location to SD card so that you can receive the message straightly on the SD card only.

I am agree with the above user as you can change the memory location also but if suppose you don’t know how to do that you can simply refer the guide rather manual that you have gotten with the mobile. but if suppose you are still not able to figure how to do that you can have option to make back of the message directly to the memory card so it will simply move the messages in the SD card as you move message.

You can simply save the messages to the PC as well but for that you need to have a OVI suite installed in the machine, and I hope you must have the CD that you have gotten with the phone so from that only you’ll get the setup for the OVI suite rather you can download it from internet as well. and after that you there is an separate option for making back of the data stored in the mobile phone, you can not only backup the messages but also your personal notes and many other things also.

Well, I am agree all the above user as they have mentioned perfectly but still if suppose you are having any problem you can have one more option apart from the above as you can simply store all your messages and other content to the OVI store also. and the sync with it whenever you want, and this is most reliable to consistent way to store such a content. You can access them from wherever you are.
