Sony X10mini network unlock code

Hi I have purchased a Sony X10 mini three months back the network is Orange UK. I've tried another SIM (O2) and it seems the Mobile is locked to Orange's network. I cannot get the simcard status to open using the menu, back etc method I'm stuck. Is there anyone out there that can help with another method as this question has been asked a few times on the 'net and nobody's seems to know the answer. At present I'm running Android 2.1. I upgraded it last month. Any ideas as I really want to use this mobile but the problems associated with are driving me crazy.

De-branded or network unlocking means that you can also use the mobile on any other network provider besides the one that was branded with the mobile when you bought it. Even I had De-Branding issues with my apple Iphone it had T-Mobile. You can search on Google to get the desired unlocking code or the procedure how to do it there are various sites available. Even if the code doesn’t work it will not spoil your mobile, so it’s worth giving a try. I bought a paid software and it worked for me, hope it does the same for you.

I got a Unlocking code for Sony Ericsson mobile Phones while surfing on Google. I have a hobby of collecting weird stuff. Just check it out if you find it worth it. Just keep your sim card inside you mobile and switch on the mobile. When the mobile's screen will appear then enter this < * * < (left arrow key, star, star, left arrow key, enter on the word network. Then enter the following code 7419250580956705 and hit the OK Button, it will take you back to the word network with an open lock beside it and then it will show that mobile network is unlocked for other provider. It will show you the welcome screen and you’re able to use it at that time.

Various Websites provide you with unlock codes for mobile Handsets. They may ask for mobile specific information such as IMEI of the phone model and the company and then these sites have their own search engines and software’s with which they get the unlocking code for the device. Once the sites engine has created the unlock code Just then insert another SIM card and enter the code provided when prompted by the mobile and done. This does work in most of the cases.

De-branding our phone can be done in simple steps, first you need a unlock code, as the network operator wont unlock it for you for free they will make you buy the mobile phone first. So to get a unlock code you need to go to a local store where he may unlock it for you with a minimal charge, or you can log on to Google.com and look for the word unlock, and just follow the commands and you will be able to unlock your phone. there will be free sites as well as paid ones go for the free ones.. good luck

I have finally unlocked my phone; yes it took me two weeks and countless crucial hours with my neck almost breaking in pain because of surfing the net to find the code. But it was worth it and I saved a lot of money too! I never thought I would get a solution on a forums site. I went on a website through Google downloaded a patch to unlock my phone and it worked for me. Once again guys thank you!
