Windows is not resuming after opening or closing the lid of ASUS Eee PC 1001P laptop

I am having ASUS Eee PC 1001P laptop from past couple of days. I have installed Windows XP on the laptop of mine. after closing and opening the lid the operating system did not seems to resuming. I don’t know whether this particular issue is associated with the Windows which I have installed or there is an issue with the hardware of the device. Let me know if you are having any speculation on this particular matter to get the requirement of mine. Thanks a lot in advance.

I don’t know why this particular issue is being happening into the situation of yours however I recommend that you should boot the system into safe mode. You should restart the laptop of yours and press f8 from the keyboard and then you have to select Safe mode from the Advanced Boot menu by using the arrow key and press enter. Once the laptop is boot into the safe mode and see whether it is working or not.

Well I am highly suspecting that this particular thing is happening due to software changes on the system of yours. I think you have to require to undo the changes which you have done by performing the system restore on the laptop of yours. you have to select the system restore point before the issue started on the laptop of yours. the process of the system restore might be several minute longer so you have wait till the entire process is gets completed.

According to me there could be an issue with the drivers which you have installed on the laptop of yours. I mean the drivers which you have installed might be out of dated. You should visit the official website and look for the latest version of drivers. You should download the drivers and install the same on the laptop of yours. Make sure that you have restarted the laptop after installing the drivers. I am hoping that you will fix the matter after reinstalling the drivers on the system of yours.

Do you having service warranty of the device of yours? If you are having the same I recommend that you should visit the official service center and claim from the service warranty. Why I am suggesting because there could be an issue with the hardware of the laptop. You should see that the device of yours should not have any physical damage otherwise you will not be able to claim for the service warranty. Also you should bought the invoice details while visiting the official service center.
