How to make backup of sansa fuze music player ?

Hi I have recently bought a music player called sansa fuze and kept too many songs and the videos in that, but after sometimes I came to know that there is some problem in the device so I was planning to replace it with another device. And the mistake I have done is like I have moved all the files actually form the PC to device thus I don’t have any copy of the same so I want to make backup of all those content, so how can I do that because sometimes the device won’t recognize to the PC, and sometimes It just won’t start, so please suggest me the best way through I can get them back.

Well, that’s very awful, are you sure that there is some problem in the device itself? Because the problem that you have mentioned seems because of the firmware and that might be corrupted in your device so the problem is happening, so before taking the backup you should try to update the firmware first. But if suppose the same is happening you should make a back up by connecting the device to the PC.

Well I am not sure that if you have a SD card in it, you can simply remove it and with the help of card reader you can simply make backup of all the media files to the PC again. but if suppose there isn’t any then you should try to make a reset to your player and then try to connect it with the PC, I have seen that after making the factory reset you’ll get all the missing or corrupted files back in the player itself.

See as you have mentioned that it won’t connect to PC sometimes only, so according to me you should keep trying to connect it, and as it get connected there is an option in the companion that must have been installed in the computer, so through that you can easily make the backup of all the media content again to the PC. but you must have to try to connect it again and again until you get succeeded.

It might be possible that because of the faulty software you’re not able to connect the music player to the machine you have, so you should try to reinstall that as well, but if suppose you are willing to have any other software that you can have software called Media Monkey, just install this software in your PC and make a backup through this software. rather it might be possible that the player is not getting detected in your machine only, have you ever tried to connect it to another machine apart from the one you have, you can try that also, if suppose you get it connected so you can make backup there as well, and then move them through any other source.

If suppose you are having the same problem again with the device, so I would say as you are going for replacing the hardware so you can told the support center as well for getting those content back as they will make the content available however, because they are the expertise person who always does the same thing often, and off course whenever you visit there don't forget to bring any such device like USB flash drive or anything else if you have any.
