Is graphic card or motherboard is dead of Alienware M9750?

I am having Alienware M9750 from past couple of months. Today morning I have noticed that the after booting the laptop of mine the screen of the laptop turns to black. I am unable to figure out whether there is an issue with the hardware of the laptop that is it is concerned with motherboard or graphic card of the laptop. Let me know if you are having any specific solution to get the requirement of mine. Thanks a lot in advance.

In order to figure out the root cause of the problem I wanted to know which operating system do you have installed on the laptop of yours? Do you have installed all the necessary drivers on which are associated with the motherboard and graphic card? Do you getting any error message? If so you should post the same over here so that I can figure out the root cause of the problem and tell you about the possible solution to troubleshoot the issue.

Looking at the situation I recommend that you should boot your laptop into safe mode and see whether the issue is persisting or not. First of all you should restart the laptop and simply start pressing f8 from the keyboard of the laptop. Now you have to select Safe mode from the advanced boot menu screen by using the arrow key and press enter. Once the laptop is boot into safe mode you have to see that issue is persisting or not.

I think you have to reseat the graphic card which you have installed on the laptop of yours. also you have to see that the graphic is overheating or not. There are number of program which you can use to get the same. the maximum of the GPU temperature should be of 80c. if the temperature reach to 100C then it would damage the graphic card which you have installed on the laptop and also it might crash the system of yours.

I am suspecting that there is an issue with the drivers of the laptop. I recommend that you should simply visit the official website and look for the latest version of the drivers. Once you have found you should download and install the same on the laptop of yours. after competing with the installation process of the drivers I recommend that you should restart the laptop of yours. after completing with the process let me know if you have noticed any difference in the situation.

Is there any change in the situation after using the solutions which has been mentioned over here. Also tell me whether you are having service warranty of the laptop which you are having. If you are having the same I recommend that you should visit the official service center and claim for the service warranty. Make sure that the laptop which you are having should not have any physical damage otherwise you will not be able to claim the same.
