The playlist in Zen M100 mp3 players is very badly design

I am Very disappointing with this new mp3. I waited and waited and finally got 2 units - M100 and M300. But just to get the playlist done is a real pain. Should have listened to my kids and got an iPod instead. Sent in 2 emails to support, no response. Got to threaten to throw the products out of the window and finally got a stupid email that is use. Went to the creative website, finally to see the solution guide, follow step 1 to 7, but step 8 onwards is not clear at all. May I know how I can talk or see a Creative staff to rectify this problem? It's really very frustrating experience.

It is seriously ridiculous to have to go through this much to make a playlist! I follow the mind blowing 13 step instructions to make a playlist and a lot of the songs won't even show up in it. I follow another 12 step set of instructions to add the missing songs and that doesn’t work. I really hope you guys plan on fixing this to something simple like the drag-and-drop with windows media player or I’m sending mine back. I shouldn’t have to follow instructions to put a playlist on an mp3 player.

We know we are using third-party software - to create the playlist. Following your company's instruction step by step can successfully create the playlist but the CREATIVE problem is there is no way to sync that playlist with your player! Do you understand? I tried and my husband (who is now involved because I bought him the M300) spent the whole of last night figuring out the sync part. Looks like I am not the only one having this problem. With words spreading around in the web this way, your product cannot sell. Finally, can I return both the players?

Playlist creation are handled by third-party software’s like Winamp, M3U Playlist Creater, etc. , please contact the respective software vendor for assistance on playlist creation. There is a firmware coming up soon that may address the playlist support. But if you are not comfortable with this player, you might want to consider a different model instead. The ZEN X-Fi 2 and the ZEN Style 100 for example have "add to selected playlist" function.

Sorry about that while I understand your frustration, I am just replying to your query. And as per my knowledge there will be a firmware update coming that may resolve this issue. I do not have the exact release date yet, please check back for the update. If you prefer to speak to Customer Support. They will contact with you using email. So I will suggest you to contact with them I am sure that they will provide appropriate solution.
