How to stop getting facebook updates in LG Octane

Hello, everyone. I am very new to the LG Octane mobile phone. So please co-operate with me and my issue. I had registered for the Facebook application in my mobile phone, but then decided to drop the choice as I was getting irritated with an update from Facebook after every five minute. It was seriously insane and pissing. I tried to cancel or delete my facebook account form my mobile phone inorder to stop this update issue, but was unable to find one particular solution to do so. Please someone tell me how I can get rid of the issue.

You should probably search for some configuration or settings in your LG Octane mobile phone. I am sure there might be something which would be stopping this continuous updates from Facebook. SO in this case, I would recommend you to read on the User Guide or The phone Manual and check out which setting could make it possible for you to stop getting Facebook updates after every few minutes. You can search them along with the accessories which came along with the mobile phone. According to me you are receiving updates because the data plan is activated in your mobile phone. The data plan is making it possible for your LG Octane mobile phone to connect you to the Facebook server thus making it possible for you to receive updates of your facebook account in your mobile phone. So, I feel that if you disable the data plan which is activated in your mobile phone, then your mobile won’t be able to connect to your facebook account, thus making it possible for your mobile not to receive unwanted update.

You need to follow the following few steps which are mentioned below:

• Go to the main menu of your LG Octane mobile phone
• Then go to Media center > Browse & Download.
• Here you will find a list of applications which are installed in your mobile phone.
• Scroll down and search for Facebook application. Hightlight it and you will notice a menu option appearing when you click the right softkey of your mobile
• Here you can delete the subscription or even delete the application.

I really appreciate the concern and the efforts which each and everyone of you made to get my issue solved. I went through each of the. I could have solved the issue by disabling the data plan but that would have even stopped other services for which I need data plan in my device.
