Need Compact Camera with a Prime lens

I want to capture a photo, but did not have my camera, so they seek. I have curious to discern if any of P & S on the market have a prime number, instead of a zoom lens, in order to get a little less depth of field and enhanced rinse facility. I want it to be pocket-able. I fully manual exposure control (ISO, SS, opening). RAW is important, but I can live without it, if it comes to that. Is there a bit in the market like this? Manual control, RAW, and pocket the capacity? Suggest one thing that have all stated.

There is only one camera, Canon S95, which includes everything you desire. But in this case I doubt that you endow with. If you set resources for these cameras, then it necessity concur with the S95, I suppose that the budget should be about more than $ 250. If you are satisfied with it, then you have the whole lot you ask, small size, f / 2 lenses, enormous in streak, manual control of RAW, Canon has some despicable cameras with these features as well, but it is not hefty enough to meet your needs.

More appropriate pocket camera out there, but will not get much in the way of limited DOF unless you use macro mode and get shade nearby. This fee would be appropriate to S90. Other options include DP1s DP2s Sigma - if you can put up with chronic speed, the interface has sand lenses APS-C Foveon sensors give you a incredible and unique look at the pictures. Also check out the Olympus XZ-1. It has manual controls, of course, and as RAW.

Your other options are M4 / 3 sensor is slighter than the Sigma and the national application. I have no familiarity with them, but I always resemble the gaze of the Panny GF1. Out of the cameras that I have I would take the Sony for enhanced image eminence and versatility and S90 for maximum portability. Better with - the smaller body, the larger the sensor. Siggys not really urge any. Pain, unfortunately too much to operate.

The only two cameras that fit this description are the S90 and S95. The S90 can be found used for $ 200-250. F2 has a zoom, so I cannot imagine a primary objective of a covenant is much faster anyway. If you want a small camera, with the possibility of DOF, is an Olympus XA (which uses 35 mm film, so "FF" and the sensor DOF). The S95 is currently the paramount. Other cheaper options, image quality akin or only vaguely worse and skills to light are the Nikon P300 (same size, no premiums), Canon and Canon sd4000 500HS (both faintly lesser and cheaper, but not a small tons of manual modes only partial, however, the opening and shutter precedence, no manual mode). The screen is terrible in the sunlight, like skiing, while the camera seemed economical.

I was surprised when I saw the many responses to it; I love the response from all members. Well, thanks for all the suggestions that helped me get known with it. The NEX-5 looks fascinating, but Sony is not exactly my "good" list exactly. The S95 with an optional grip seems to be the best suggestion so I'm starting to warm up a bit in the S series cameras, I hope this satisfies the desires of mine and I do not regret later.
