Sony NEX-3 has low shutter speed in iAuto mode

My cousin recently gave me Sony Nex 3 camera. It is small but very powerful and awesome camera. The only issue I am facing while using the camera is that it is showing low light conditions when I am trying to capture images in iAuto mode. I am unable to understand why the camera is selecting the lowest shutter speed. This issue occurs even when I am trying to take pictures in very low light conditions. What must be the problem with the camera? Does anyone know what possible I should do to solve the problem.

As you mentioned that the problem has started occurring recently and there was no such issue before, so I thing you must have done some settings in your Sony NEX-3 camera which might have caused the following issues in your camera. If you are unable to detect or remember any changes which you have done in your camera settings and you are still facing the same issue, then I would recommend you to reset your camera.
