Poor LCD quality and viewing angle with Lenovo x120e

I tried from every angle but cannot find any angle from where both top as well as bottom of the screen is 100% visible. At some point, top is visible clearly but the bottom is not clear and at some of the points bottom is visible but top is not. It is having very hard view. Is it normal with this model or the LCD is faulty. I don’t know what I should do so I am starting this thread to get some idea from you people. Please suggest me something.

I think that this is normal for this model. I am also having the same model and this is showing me the same thing. It is like the same as the TN panels. Even though the x120 is one of the most awful offenders. On the plus side, it is having the dull screen which helps through glare as well as reflections. So this is not only you who are facing this issue. This is the same with all the models of it. I hope that Lenovo will do something to solve this.

Bad or corrupted display driver can also be considered as one of the possible reasons for this. So what you can do is just uninstall that form your computer and then install that over again. After that reboot your computer and check if that solves the problem for you. If that also not help you then you can go for updating the driver. If the issue is because of the driver then this will surly solve the problem.

If you want to setup this then you will have to set it up. Just go to color management control panel. Now open the advanced tab and click on "Change System Defaults" button which is there at bottom. You will observe what seem to be the similar window pop up. Now open advanced tab over again, verify "Use Windows display calibration". Shut the window and after that then from the first window open the Devices tab and select "Add". Choose the profile and select "Set as default profile" otherwise you can also choose "Lenovo Thinkpad LCD monitor" and place it as default.
