ApeX V1.4.0 ROM for motorola Droid X & Droid 2

Hey hi, I own a smartphone called Droid X and in that I like to installed the new software and themes, and off course as it support the ROM, thus including that. and recently I have heard about the Apex V1.4.0 ROM for the mobile phone, I don’t know which one I am having right now, but want to install that new one in my cell phone, is there any changes in this mentioned version, or it is same as what I have already? Need suggestion, do I install it or not?

As far as I know in the Droid mobile, you will get the Liberty ROM by default, but still if you want to know about it, you can check it on the internet about this, or you can browse your phone from their official website also for the same. But I would suggest you that you should stick with the one you have, because no doubt apex is good, but liberty is quite better. But if suppose you have already decided to install the new ROM than I would suggest you to install V1.4.1 rather than V1.4.0.

See if you have decided to install a new ROM, I am completely agree with the above user, as in fact I am using the same that you have mentioned, regardless of their version, I have different version that’s 1.4.1, thus I would recommend you the same to install in your phone also. See some major changes in this ROM’s are Swype is fixed for D2 Version, the toolbox that it contains is being updated. And along with that some of the wallpaper that we were not able to access, now that we can access again through the 'Wallpaper Gallery'.

Yeah, you can update to this Rom also, as this is also a good Rom, and let me tell you that you are using the liberty by default in your mobile, which is quite better than the one that you have mentioned. But still there are lots more feature they have added in the apex Rom, I think they have two version for these, and both of them are cool, as in the 1.4.0 you can have New Apex Toolbox, while booting the phone new animation, New Background, Ringtone, Notification Tone and many more concern able things.

I hope you are aware about the ROM updating because in that you have to flash out the phone for installing the new ROM in the mobile. Thus this is quite bothersome, rather this things are just made for entertainment purpose only, you will not get the changes in the functionality of the phone, rather some background images and the ring tones and all these things are changed, which is not worthy to flash the phone, rather I would suggest you that you should use the one that you have.

If you are not aware about it s features, I would suggest you that you can check on the internet also, as in their official website they have the full detailed explanation for the ROM that you have mentioned, and the list of all the compatible device for that, together with this you can have the screen shot for some of the screen, don’t know what they have mentioned exactly.

I am using the same that you have mentioned in your query, and I am loving it, thus would suggest you to install the same, yeah this is little bit frustrating as we have to flash out the mobile for installing this, but after that we’ll get exciting features too in the mobile, I would like to share with you, such as translucent Notification Shade, additional Google-fixed 2.3.2 search bar, Custom window animations and transitions, etc.
