First thing I would like to tell you is have to tried it again from the scratch by making a new connection and restore the setting on the ps3, if you would have set your own ip address then DHCP won’t be assign to your ps3. Go to your network in your control panel and right click your connection, then
click TCP/IP and then the properties and make sure that it has been set as obtain ip address automatically. Either you might wanting to think about making a static ip address if you have more than 2 computers on your network.

Dear friend I to had this problem and tried really hard to sort it up and I did so don’t worry there are I think 12 steps which would lead you to your happiness again don’t worry jus follow them and may you would be blessed up with your problem been solved so start with this go to your network setting, go to internet connection setting, choose wireless network, choose enter manually in wlan setting, now need to enter your wireless network name you need to enter the internet security if you got, under that address setting choose custom, and under the IP address setting choose Manual, Input your information
IP Address: enter your own IP, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0, Default Router: if you know your router already use that number, Primary DNS: 4.2.2.2, Secondary DNS: 4.2.2.3, now need to continue on MTU and choose automatic, go to Proxy server and choose don not use, Go to UPnP and choose enabled click X to save your setting, test the connection now hope it works.

Ok now just check out if the firmware of your router is latest if not get the latest one then check If you are entering the security key and key type on your ps3 and obviously that should be matching with your router key and type ok, you may also need a static ip address to be assigned on PS3 and forwarded
ports used by PS3 to static IP address of PS3 on routers firewall.
    Ports used by PS3:
    UDP3478,UDP 3479,UDP 3658TCP.domain (port 53),UDP.domain (port 53),TCP.http (port80),TCP.https(port 443),UDP.ssdp (port 1900),TCP.amandaBackupInitiation (10080),TCP.Jabber SSL/TLS (port 5223),TCP.10075,TCP.10078,TCP.10079 this should definitely work.

WELL dear I think these are the solution which almost every other guy is going to give you you must get your problem done in this solutions because they had worked for me and I think it would work to you to you just need to work them out properly and everything has to be appropriate and exact I would say rest depends on your luck and the final solution is try taking to a closest service center or so may they get it done they have most chance of solving out the problem and if you don’t have the service centers around search out for the contact number anywhere it has been located and contact them very best of luck hope you resolve your problem sooner.
