iphone 3GS not compatible with Clock/Radio dock

I have just replaced my iphone 3gs. Before the replacement the iphone was working fine with my speaker dock thing which also has radio and the alarm clock. Furthermore it was charging the phone also. Now this new phone is not working with the Dock. Today morning I wake to a flat phone. I got that the dock is not charging it. I have tried most of the possible thing to work with that dock but it didn’t help. Can anybody help me to make my iphone to work with this $200 accessories?

re: iphone 3GS not compatible with Clock/Radio dock

From what i identify, Apple altered about a few of the pin settings within the latest iPhone 3G, iPod Nano fourth generation and the iPod Touch second generation. These fresh products need their individual row of products intended specially for them although elder age group products at rest fit. If you would like to purchase iPhone 3G accessories just ensure it tells on the product that it will operate through the iPhone 3G. Actually this is a trouble that not many people who put up for sale accessories be familiar with about.

That's simply a pointer that the dock is not protected alongside intrusion from the cellular transmissions of the mobile phone, therefore you might perceive sound of a number of static (however you almost certainly will not). You can merely tap No and the dock will work very well. Irritating, yes, except not or else a trouble. Does your dock compatible with any other device? if so then check that dock with other device. if it is not working then assume that the dock itself has malfunctioned

In spite of the fact that they sell the dock like a 'Universal Dock', still the most up-to-date edition which comes by an adapter intended for the iPhone at rest doesn't seem to be 100% companionable with the iPhone. What it's efficiently informing you is that it's not protected and that you might obtain a few interference. I had a dock concerning the similar age like yours and I determined to obtain the newer one which lists the iPhone. It got superior in that it barely occurs every now and afterward except it's still obviously not protected since I obtain classic phone intrusion if I run the cable excessively near to speakers.

Apple will protect this lying on the grounds that it has been forewarning third party makers alongside utilizing the 12V power pins meant for some time at present; though certainly the scheme of a normal (although proprietary) for example the iPod dock connector is that the goal-posts don't move. Meant for those hopeful that a program update might re-activate the 12V pins and put right this, imagine another time - it's being noted on a variety of forums that the 12V pins aren't linked to whatever thing within the iPhone 3G

It appears that in any case one capitalist group has detected the option of a gold mine inside the figure of an after-market adapter. (Choose iPod standard accessories → iPhone charge converter.). Therefore what are the causes after this change? Apple doesn't contain a huge existence within the iPod/iPhone accessories marketplace, except it runs the threat of ticking off how lots of on hand customers, not to talk about its trade partners within the iPod accessories market.

The reason of this problem it seems that lies inside the reality that the iPhone 3G, not like its precursor and each and every one previous iPods, no longer supports charging while the 12V pins on top of the [supposedly regular] Apple iPod dock connector, barely the USB pins. I think that the pins on the Dock might not be properly seated with iphone connector. Have you checked that thing? Make sure that the dock pin are perfectly matching with your iphone pins.
