Headphone socket not working on Samsung NC10

I purchased laptop Samsung NC10 last month. The Os installed in my netbook is Windows 7. I normally used this laptop for surfing, downloading movies, gaming and especially for chatting. It is an excellent netbook. But yesterday I came across a strange issue while operating the netbook. My headphone socket wasn’t working. I don’t know the exact reason for this issue. I tried a lot to overcome the issue but failed to do that. Is anyone aware about such issues? If yes then please help me out.

Any issue related to software can be easily solved by me but to solve an issue related to hardware is almost impossible for me. I am very grateful to you for interacting with me to overcome the issue. I am unable to find the exact cause for this issue. I also consulted a Hardware professional as suggested by you but he could not solve the issue. He was very confused when I discussed the issue with him. He tried a lot but failed to overcome the issue. Do you know some other methods to solve such issues? If yes then please do the needful if possible.

I just wanted to know if anything happened to the netbook before this issue occurred. Was the netbook damaged before due to an accident or whether it had water damage? After you provide me this detail only then I will be able to give you the necessary suggestions that you need to overcome the issue.

I will surely provide you the information that you need. My netbook wasn’t damaged before this issue occurred. I didn’t spill liquid or other such things over my netbook. As I am not having much technical knowledge that is the reason I am finding this issue more complicated to solve it out. I always handled the netbook with care but still I don’t know how this issue occurred. Are you aware about some other solution to overcome the issue? If yes then please tell me about it.

It is quite an interesting issue that you have posted. It is very complicated to find out the exact cause for such issues. Simplest way that I would recommend you to overcome the issue is that you need to visit the service center. Discuss the issue with the supervisor present over there. He will surely tell you the exact reason for such issue. He will replace the hardware if necessary. You issue will definitely be solved after visiting the service center. Try it out and inform me about the consequences.

Before I had discussed this topic with my colleagues but they could not help me to surmount the issue. You are the first person who supported and helped me. I visited the service center and now my issue is solved. The issue that was irritating me has been solved now. It was not possible to solve the issue without your advice.
