Nokia 5230 v/s Nokia 5530

I am going to buy a new a cell phone in the coming week. I have also short listed two phones from which I need to select any one. But I am confused which one to select. I am not aware about the complete features of both the cell phones. The two cell phones that I have short listed are Nokia 5230 and Nokia 5530. I don’t know which phone is better from the two selected phones. Is anyone aware about these phones? Can anyone tell me which is better? If yes then please do the needful.

This issue is not complicated. Both the cell phone runs Symbian 60 v5 OS. Both are having the same processor speed of 434 MHz. The basic difference between the two phones is that Nokia 5230 is having a larger screen of 3.2 inches and the screen size of Nokia 5530 is 2.9 inches. After this comes the difference with respect to camera Nokia 5530 features 3.2 megapixel camera while Nokia 5230 features only 2.9 megapixel camera. These are differences which I know about these phones. Now it is up to you to decide which cell phone suits you the best.

I think you should go for Nokia 5230. Because according to me Nokia 5230 is better than Nokia 5530. Nokia 5530 faced criticism after it released due to lack of 3G. Now a day’s most of the people prefer to have 3G in their cell phone rather than Wi-Fi because Wi-Fi lacks wide coverage. Nokia 5230 has 3G and a new feature that is GPS (global positioning system). On the other hand Nokia 5530 has Wi-Fi but it lacks both 3G and GPS. These are the reasons why I suggest you to go for Nokia 5230 instead of 5530.

Your issue seems to be quite interesting. But if you are more concerned about the average cost and more features than you should purchase Nokia 5230 instead of Nokia 5530. Nokia 5230 is much cheaper than Nokia 5530 but has more features in it. Nokia 5230 provides you much better features in low price. Nokia 5230 supports new features in it such as GPS and 3G. Initially when Nokia 5530 released it was much in demand but after the release of other new cell phones the demand for Nokia 5530 generally reduced.

I read your post and I came to know about your issue. I suggest you to try out the Nokia 5530 because it’s a cool gadget. There was a craze for Nokia 5530 when it first released because it was the first device of Nokia which featured touch sensitive display. The 5530 runs Symbian S60 5th Edition, but it supports a smaller screen display. It supports 4GB micro SD card but it has no GPS and doesn’t support 3G. You should definitely try this cell phone.

It is generally very difficult to choose any one from the two short listed phones. I am not aware about the basic difference between Nokia 5230 and Nokia 5530 but still I will try to help you as much as I can. According to me you should go for Nokia 5230 because it released after Nokia 5530. Generally everyone is aware that a new cell phone always supports more features from the previous one. So I think Nokia 5230 would definitely have some new features in it from Nokia 5530. So my recommendation would be to purchase Nokia 5230 rather than Nokia 5530.
