Malfunctioning of front buttons in Nokia E90

There is some serious issues with the nokia E90 communicator that I am using, well the problem is that my front buttons are totally malfunctioning and hence it is causing a lot of problem for me. Now whenever I press the green button to check out the call log some other function gets displayed which is assigned to the upper power button. Now whenever I want to select any operation in the phone then it gets switched to the voice recording mode, I know the symptoms are really funny but I am looking for a solution here, do help me out.

It seems your device is totally corrupted and hence I think some serious work must be done to your device so that it gets back on its own. Probably re flashing your device will do the work for you. I think so that’s the only last option left for you considering your device. So I hope you have got the point that I am trying to make here, so lets hope re flashing will work for you. Appreciate that you have given me some quick solutions for me. The thing is that I am not sure on how to carry on with the process of flashing. Since this is the first time that I am going ahead with the procedure so I will need your help to carry out the required procedure. So guys I need your help here again, on how to carry on with the process of flashing I know I am asking a bit more from you all but please do consider it and help me sort out the issue for me.

Well what you should do is type the following keys in the mobile *#7370# and then reset all the factory settings in your mobile when you have done that go to the ovi store and download the latest software version for your mobile the latest firmware will get installed in your mobile phone and then after that reboot the mobile and then check if everything is working fine or not. I think so it must solve the issue for you. So go ahead and try working on the suggestion that I have given here I hope it is beneficial for you.

See if none of the solutions are working for you then it si better to settle with the nokia care center. I think they will probably have a close look at your mobile and will solve the problem, however if your phone is pretty old then they will not take any interest in having your phone repaired because they will not like to take any sort of risk. However if your phone comes under warranty then they will surely go ahead with the procedure.

Well the solution did not work for me. I did try the 4th solution but that really did not help me at all I think the last option for me is to show it to the Nokia care center and I think that will work for me I think so thanks for all the interest that you have taken In to solve the issue for me. So appreciate that you helped me. It has not soughted out the issue for me so i am expecting more response.
