Unable to play sound in Toshiba Satellite M50-228

I am using Toshiba Satellite M50-228. I normally listen music in my laptop more than two hours by using my headphone. With my music I also do my work. Yesterday I was also doing same thing. When I was listening music it suddenly start giving some problems. The sound form my started breaking after that I restart the laptop but after that also I am facing the same problem. Now I don’t know what to do with my laptop. If you have any idea then pleases reply. It will be helpful for me.

As you are saying that your music suddenly start breaking, then according to me you just need uninstall the windows media player and after that install the windows media player again. By doing this it will install the all broken and missing codec’s. and after that you will be able to play your music. After watching your post I tried to solve my problem by going through your solution. I have reinstalled the windows media player. But I have not told you one thing first the sound was just breaking in my laptop but now it has totally stopped coming. Sp if you have any idea about this problem then please reply me with some proper solution. I really wanted to play the music in my laptop but this problem is frustrating me. Please reply me as soon as possible.

Ok. If you are not able to play sound in your laptop then I think there should be some problem with your setting. To solve this you need to go to the device manager and check there whether your sound drivers are installed or not? If it is installed in your laptop then third click on it and make it enable. After that sound will start coming from your laptop and you will be able to play music. But still after that you are facing the same problem then please let me know.

I think there is something wrong with your windows. Sometimes this problem may occurs because of operating systems files get corrupted. To solve this problem you need to insert your bootable cd of your respective operating system. After that repair your operating system. Repairing the system will repair all the corrupted file of your operating system. Just try this solution I hope it will be helpful for you. Once its get repaired then audio will start again.

I have read your reply. And then I also tried to solve my problem by repairing the windows. But when I started repairing the windows it took almost one hour for that process but even after doing that I am still facing the same problem. Now i think there is something wrong with my audio driver. Is there any other driver available on internet which supports my sound card? If it is there then please tell me where I can find this driver or give me the name of that driver so I will download it.
