Shaky images on laptop screen -Sony PCG-9P6I

Hello guys, I am having a Sony PCG-9PCI laptop. I am having some problem with the display or the screen. The image on the screen is not clear and seems too shuddered or shaky. After a moment the screen just went black. Then I plugged an external monitor to it and found that there was no problem with the display and the image appeared clear and better. Then I unplugged the external monitor and tried with the laptop screen. The picture was faint and yellow. Can anyone tell why the image on my laptop screen is faint, shuddered and shaky. I am not able to fix the problem. Please help me.

The image on the laptop screen is faint and shaky but when you connect an external monitor, the image is clear. it is possible that there is some problem with the laptop screen. Check the display and resolution settings. Right click on the desktop and go to properties. Now click the setting tab on the top and check whether the resolution is set correctly or not. Change the settings and observe the difference in the display. if you are able to get clear image on the desktop, then apply the changes and then click OK. wait for few second till the changes are applied to screen.

I think there must be some problem with the cables that connects screen and the motherboard in your laptop. Your laptop needs servicing. Take it to the service center and technicians will analyze the display problem. It is possible for some loose connections or the cable might have damaged. They will disconnect the cable and then connect it properly. If the connecting cables are damaged then they may replace it. Don’t try to open the laptop or detach the screen all by yourself. You may break it.

If your problem is solved just by replacing the connecting cables then you don’t need to think about getting a new laptop. as the cost of the new laptop would be much more than the repair cost. check if the video driver is working properly. If you think, it needs updation then get the latest update for the driver. Twitch or shaky appearance on the screen can also be due to bad graphics card. Test the graphics card and if you find it bad, get it replaced. With the new graphics card you will not face any display issue.
