    10-FC12-0241 error when trying to restore Toshiba NB505-N508BL

    Hello everyone, I have worked on the Toshiba NB505-N508B netbook and I lost admin password and hence I decided to recover the system setting. Then I hold the 0 key and open the Toshiba Recovery Wizard and try to recover the setting but unfortunately there is some error occurred in the system. The error code is to be 10-FC12-0241 and I don’t know the meaning of this error. I want remove this error and recover the setting of the Toshiba netbook.

    The meaning of this error code is to be as HDD or memory failure. This error message also suggests that the recovery process is not able to access the contents of the hard disk and the connected memory device. For solving this kind of issues you need to do the other kind of process that will help you to recover the system setting. I think you had use the factory out-of-box default state process and hence this error code is generates. Then I think you can use other technique and try to avoid such kind of error from the system.

    Hey dude, I think you had not correctly made the recovery disk and hence it will not able to access the memory of the hard disk. For solving this kind of issues you need to either use the other recovery disk. You can also use some data recovery software which can be provides the facility to restore the setting of the netbook. I think you should take the risk and try to use some recovery software for recovering the system setting.

    As per you mentioning in the post, I think there is some issue occurred in your netbook and hence your netbook is not able to access the memory device. You mention that you did not able to access the administrator software then you need to use the password reset CD. There will be so many CD presents in the market which provides the facility to reset the system password. This kind of software helps you to reset the admin password and then you can easily access the account.

    Hey dude, I tried to the same kind of solutions to reset the admin password but it can’t work. I also try the other solutions but it can’t work then I decided to not take risk for accessing the admin account. Then I used the inbuilt system recovery option using the factory out-of-box default state options but it cannot work. Finally I used the external data recovery software that will help us to recover the data and setting presets in the system.

    Hey I think you need to either use some data recovery software that will help you avoid such kind of error message and also recover the system setting. You can download this software onto internet and try to run it onto your netbook. If it works then there is possibility that the system will restore its own setting and you do not want to reset this setting. If these solutions are not work then you need to format the disk drive. This is the last solutions which definitely work and then you can try some data recovery software.

    I also faced the similar kind of issue and I try all this solutions to solve the trouble. Firstly I read the manual and try to understand the meaning of the error. Then check whether it is possible to access the admin account using some password reset software but it cannot help a lot to solve the trouble. Then finally I contact the Toshiba customer service center. The technician presents into that center has helped me to solve this trouble and recover the system data.
