PSP battery not working properly

I have a 2001 series and have a standard battery. I had purchase extended battery a year ago. The problem is that the battery is not working properly. Sometimes after charging the battery the battery is not properly charged. I don’t know what exactly the problem is. It has become a headache. Please assist me and provide a better solution so that I get rid of this battery problem.

I also have 2001 series and had a standard (3.6v, 1200mah) battery. But the problem is that the battery does not work properly most of the times. Sometimes after charging the battery, the battery does not show orange light and also there is no info in the system menu regarding the battery status or hours left. Please help me and provide me the proper solution so that my problem regarding the battery is solved.

Hi, one of my brother gifted PSP on my birthday and it is very precious gift to me. 1 month it worked properly but now it is not working properly. The main problem is in the battery. The battery is not working properly. After charging the battery fully it still works for little time and then again it stops working. I am having and have a standard battery. There are multiple problems regarding the battery of PSP due to which my PSP does not work properly. Firstly the battery does not get charged properly and secondly after charging the battery, the battery does not show orange light. The batteries of the PSP do not last forever. It also depends where the battery of the PSP are stored. The battery of the PSP must be stored in dry and cool place. If is not stored in dry or cool place the battery is either damaged or it affects the battery that it will not be properly charged and it may be no working properly. So the major precautions must be taken to protect the battery of the PSP from getting damaged.
