Does Dell Venue Pro getting Windows Phone updates

My DVP hasn't up till now gotten any notification of the accessibility of any updates, not even the "pre-update" which is supposed to obtain it ready for the "NoDo" update which comprises Copy and Paste. Has anybody gotten any updates? As well, my DVP locks up many while WIFI is enabled. What is the status of this problem? Will it be repaired with the updates? Anyone here have any idea about this? Please help me if anyone gets any information for this.

Here I wish to say something about this. Sorry to say, but link the line. The WIFI problem has been well predictable and Dell has been its common quiet self on the trouble. I have had my DVP as February with the similar problems and I can't obtain mine to keep the Bluetooth paired either. On the other hand, the new DVP being released in India have latest firmware and the NoDo update pre-installed. Here's hopeful.

I will say as I got a below warranty DVP replacement back in March, the replacement has had slight to no troubles. I do at a standstill have lockups and freezes each now and again, but that's Dell's trouble with firmware, which they have declared they will update, some day. But to the extent that I am concerned, this Dell VP is only phone for now till the Nokia WP7 handsets drops. After that its good bye Dell! If Dell wishes to compete against Nokia, they superior get on the ball, which improved and faster and now.

I received my device 5 days before, I have an amazing phone in my hand but for the maddening Wi-Fi problem, my query is, if this is a hardware problem, how can it ever be approved by an update from dell? So does this signify that I can not at all get my phone fixed? I previously love my device and even named it, but turning Wi-Fi on continues crashing the device. Should I progress in asking for a replacement? Or should I stay for an update if in any way there can be one?

I got my phone 4/20/11 and out of the box it had that problem. I establish after research that people thinking it was a firmware updates which would detach it. I asked for a replacement anyhow and the second phone I got has the similar firmware on it. The problem does not occur on this phone and the whole thing works very fine even prior to updating to NoDo. I would say this is a hardware problem for certain. Whether it's the 16 GB memory cards or defective other mechanism, I would attempt asking for a phone replacement and hopeful for the best.

I received my device on 4/17 and attempted to call on the 21st and today to have them send me a replacement. Both times they declared that as it was "a known problem" and there was an update appearance, they wouldn't do a swap for me. I revealed that others online had their devices restored and the replacements occasionally did not have the Wi-Fi trouble, but they at a standstill wouldn't do the swap and said they couldn't mention on other people's devices.
