Delay while receiving text message in HTC Desire

I don’t know where is the problem. Well I am having HTC Desire and It was working great from past few days. now I am getting a strange problem with this particular phone. I have noticed that I was getting message delayed up to 10 minutes. I am unable to find out where is the problem. Whether there is an issue with the network provider or phone itself. Let me know if you are having any advice to get the requirement of mine. Thanks a lot in advance.

Well according to me area from where you are trying to sent the message might be having any issue. You need to see whether there is sufficient number of cell towers in your area. It seems to be happening due to lack of cell phone towers. Another reason might be clog of the network. If that is the case you need to wait till the clog of the network is being resolved. So you should consider the above mentioned factors and let me know which one was the root cause of the problem.

In this particular matter I am suggesting you should do a soft reset and see whether it is helping you out or not. Well in soft reset we are supposed to do restart the phone and see whether it is working or not. if the power button of the phone does not seem to working then you should simply remove the battery from the phone and wait for couple of minutes and reinsert the same and switch on the phone and see whether it is working or not.

Well looking at the situation I am suggesting that you should go for Factory Reset and see whether it is working or not. you need to use to the following instruction to do Factory Reset.
    1. From the Home Screen you need to go for Menu and then go for Settings.
    2. You need to go for Privacy and then simply go for Factory Data reset.
    3. Now select Reset phone and select Erase everything from the Factory Data reset.
    4. Make sure that you have back up all the data before doing Factory reset.

I am suspecting that this particular problem is occurring due to the firmware of the phone. Hence I recommend that you should update the firmware of the phone of yours. make sure that you have back up all the data from the phone memory since the data which you have stored on the phone will erase after doing the firmware upgrade. After finishing with the process you can restore the data in the phone memory.
