HTC Inspire: G Sensor not working

I like my HTC Inspire mobile phone. But now a day’s it’s give me problem in G-sensor. Has anybody else had this type of difficulty or know a way out solution for this? It’s similar to my phone doesn't have an accelerometer or it is switched off some way. I have attempted looking in the settings but all I can discover is G sensor calibration which does not assist. If anyone here has any idea or any knowledge about this than, please help me. All useful incomes are greatly appreciated.

I am having the similar trouble as the original poster. I just acquired the HTC Inspire last day. While I turn my phone, the phone does not switch between landscape and portrait form. This occurs with texting, utilizing the internet, people (contacts), and quite much any application which I run. I have tried the G sensor calibration; though this does not solve the trouble. Just a complete shutdown after that revive of the phone permits the rotation of the screen to switch properly, however it is just temporary. Generally after a few minutes of not utilizing the phone, the similar problem persists.

I purchased my inspire 3 days before and I am having the exact similar problem. I rearrange the phone and it fixes it for a few minutes, but after that it craps out another time. I love the phone but they necessitate getting this fixed. I brought it back into the shop to get it replaced thinking it was a fault, but they just rearrange the phone and saw that it was functioning again and sent me on my way and said to riposte if it keeps occurrence. But it sounds like if more people are having this problem then it is a trouble with the phone. Have you heard of any repair up till now? I wish they fix it within the next few days or I am going to have to return it.

While I ran into this problem I situate the phone back to factory defaults and this has fixed my problem for over a week now. I notion that by going into the G Sensor calibration is what effects my trouble but it looks others are having the similar problem. I as well attempted the G Sensor Calibration to repair and it did not work. Earlier than I returned the phone I just went into the "Settings" after that "SD and phone storage" and chosen "Factory Data Reset". That was my fix!

Re: HTC Inspire: G Sensor not working

I obtained my Inspire today and observed a few hours later than owning it that it was doing the similar exact thing. I distorted the browser to landscape only mode and later than a few minutes my internet stopped functioning all together both Wi-Fi and AT&T network. I could not attach to anything that uses the internet. I do not have live wallpaper I am at a standstill utilizing the one which came on the phone. I restarted the phone and that looks to work but I just did it so we will observe for how long. I sure wish they fix this and it is just a software problem because I love the phone and my sister loves hers too.

It looks likely that one (or more) of the live wallpapers has an insect. I have utilized the HTC (moving bubble) wallpaper, and the Nexus One, with no troubles. Please provide the live wallpaper which you are utilizing and having difficulty with to notice if others can copy the trouble on their devices. As well, attempt turning off live wallpaper to observe if that affects the trouble. Many of these troubles can be solved by procedure of elimination.

I just got my new inspire and was having the same problem. for me it was because I calibrated the g-sensor as if it was a level , that is, by setting it on its side to calibrate. when I calibrated it by setting it flat on its back, it solved all my problems. This will fix ALL auto rotate problems!
