Mac operating system does not recognizes Motorola Defy

Hello everyone I need some help here regarding some solutions for the problem. Well the problem is that whenever I am trying to connect my mac machine with the Motorola defy then it is not getting connected at all. So tell me what should I do in such situation. The system says that it cant recognize inserted disk. So I wanted to ask you all is that where can I get the recommended software for mac so that I would be able to connect it with the system. Please help me.

Whenever you are trying to connect the phone with the data cable, when you are able to get the notification on the screen then try and select the storage media option In the phone and then continue with the transfer of the files. So that’s also a recommended solution for all of you. So do have a look at the suggestion that I have specified. Many a times it does happen that you have selected some other option and you dont have the necessary software installed and hence you get to see the message that you are getting right now.

Just to inform you that I did the same method that you have suggested me above and I had only selected the mass storage option In the phone but sadly it did not gave me anything else, yes i followed your solution and it did not help me. Now tell me what next should I do in such situation. If you have any other alternatives then do share it with me here I am waiting for your response please do reply if you have any other solution for me.

Then I think the problem is with the data cable that you are using, even after using the mass storage option then also you are not getting anything then the problem is with the data cable itself and I think that’s the main cause of worry, go to the mobile dealer from where you had brought this phone and ask them to get you a new data cable because the data cable is the one in the fault here and i think replacing it will definitely be a good option for you. So that’s my suggestion for you and if you are asking for a good compatibility software for mac then you will easily get it in the Motorola online store.
