flashing blue light on top of Creative Zen Vision M

Hello Friends! I just bought a Zen Vision M. I have installed all the software. However, when I connect it to the USB port a blue light next in the power switch starts to flash and I cannot turn it on nor will my computer recognize it. Does this mean the battery is charging? Does it mean there is something wrong with my player? So please friend if possible and if anyone knows any kind of thing about this please have me.

I had the same problem. The Player must have run out of battery without me knowing. I plugged it into the USB port of my PC (powered USB 2 HUB), and not a sign of life. I read the threads on here and was shocked about what I may have to face regarding returning the product. Last chance saloon..I used my AC Adaptor and hey presto! Back to life. The Battery signal when it turned on was red and dead. I am guessing that the PC USB port is not enough voltage to bring it back to life.

YES! That totally worked! I don't actually have a wall adaptor so I used the wall adaptor from my GPS (same voltage rating and what have you) and it turned right on! It even turned on in recovery mode since I had tried booting it in recovery! I let it sit on the charger for about 15 seconds then I took it off and put it on the USB and no problems! I am going to post this on every site I looked at that had this problem! Thank you SO much!

I just bought today a new Vision M and had the same problem ,I was in panic , flashing blue light and no display of charge , all what you have to do is leaving your Zen charging from the USB for about 60 min and then it's gone comeback and you’ll see the battery indicator charging on the screen . The blue light is flashing with nothing on display. I'm going to wait 60 minutes to see if battery will charge. This is not a good sign, not to mention a bad first impression of the Vision M.
