How to mute Camera sound of Nokia E55

Hello guys I have a very simple query as compared to other queried related to mobile phones. I have Nokia E55 which have 3.2MP which have LED flash and whenever I take snap there is shutter sound and my question is how to mute that sound. I know it’s a very simple question for you guys but I don’t know much about technical stuffs and settings in mobile phone, I searched it in menu but I did not any options. I have posted similar query on other sites to but they are suggesting me to download a software to mute the sound. But I think there should be some options in mobile phone. Please suggest me the right option.

Man I even I have searched a lot about it on net but the disappointing news is there is no such option on Nokia handset which will allow us to mute the camera sound. I know some times I want to take pictures without the camera sound but there is no such option to disable the sound on all Nokia handsets. Nokia has done it to stop peoples from taking the pictures of others and which are quite sneaky and may be not suitable for others.

Well mate I am completely disagree with you, I don’t think that this problem is with all the Nokia handsets. I guess it is for some specific devices or handset may be for Nokia E-series or for some specific firmware, or may be it can in some region only. I didn’t remember exactly where it was in the menu but I think there was an option to mute the camera sound. Dude do one thing just contact the support staff of Nokia.

Ok may be in past you had some Nokia handset in which there was an option to mute the sound, but still I think you might had handset of some other company. But now I am quite sure that you can’t disable the camera sound in Nokia handset. I read about it in an article that there is no option to mute the camera sound because of that, peoples won’t be able to take snaps of unknown peoples or the pictures which are unwanted.

I can’t believe this I thought maybe I am not able to find out the options from the menus. I am still not able to believe, how can be a company put such kind of default settings which a user can’t change. I guess there will be some software available on net with the help of that I will be able to mute my camera. Well anyways thanks a lot guys for help me out and replying to my post. On other forums sites I haven’t any reply yet. I have to do Google search now hope there will be some software, thank you guys.
