Toshiba satellite E205 does not boot

I am using Toshiba satellite E205 from last two months only and got one major problem on this laptop. There is no problem with my charger or battery because there is mostly problem in power devices in this manufacturer’s laptop, In my case laptop is not even starting up. I can’t even get the BIOS mode so that at least I can choose the boot mode. What I am getting on my screen is Toshiba logo and and the Intel. And when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del the system just restarts. Guys please help me out on this problem, I guess many of you might have gone through this situation.

Dude I have been through this problem but in my case it was Samsung lappy, I had the same problem. I had the problem in BIOS so the technical guy took it and I don’t know what he had done, I guess he just updated the BIOS and after that I have never faced any such problem with my laptop. So you just do one thing download the flash file in a CD and boot your system in CD mode. I guess as soon as you flash and update your BIOS the laptop will be working. But if these things sound too technical to you then just call the support service as your laptop is only 2 months old it would be under warranty period so they take care of it.

Hey mate even I have the same problem with my laptop Toshiba satellite E205, I was just going through the reviews of the laptop and found out in some forums that there is BIOS password in this machine, quite shocking I never knew it. My machine is working properly till now. But what I have got for you from those forums is that this problem may be caused due to some hardware problem, first try to flash your BIOS but if it does not respond then it can be hardware problem with graphic chip or it can be motherboard too.

Guys this is the most annoying problem when you need your laptop most but you can’t even start it in. I have same problem but in my laptop Ctrl+Alt+Delete is not doing anything. When this happened me for the first time I just unplug the AC adaptor and took the battery out of the laptop for a time being and when I fixed them my system again started working but it happened only for few days now my system doesn’t even respond after those stuffs performed. Please help us if anyone got appropriate answer or solution to this. Thank you.

Same thing happened with me as well but it was in my PC not in laptop, this problem occurred because my PC was not able to see the hard drive connected. So it doesn’t even matter that how is your boot sequence is set, it tend to skip the hard drive. In BIOS HDD was not shown so it wouldn’t recognize a CD. Then I saw network boot and found that there was no cable attached. But in my case the drive was just loose that’s why it was not visible to the system. So just talk to the support guy ask him that can it happen with your laptop too? May be you are just few fix away like me, all the best.

Hey that’s really so nice of you guys, Even I had given thought to call the technical support guy, And yes as my laptop is under warranty period they may fix it at free of cost. I don’t belong to this background so I don’t know much about these things how they work, how to format these things and I have very little knowledge about these gadgets. I think calling a support will be a better idea for me. But I want thank all of you to giving so much efforts into these threads and sharing the possibilities and solutions. I haven’t got any response on other sites and forums. This site is really very active. Thank you guys,
