Toshiba Satellite L30- 101 screen cracked

I have some problem with the Toshiba Satellite L30- 101. My problem is that the LCD screen for my laptop is cracked and it is failed to display anything in it. The LCD on the brand-new Toshiba Satellite laptop is totally cracked up. I have not yet used it for three days and it is trash. I don't desire to expend money on this thing. Actually, I was attempting to stimulate my Windows, register my computer, as well as update the antivirus. I went away from machine to finish a few tedious household tasks. I closed cover of the machine to place it within Sleep Mode. When I return back, the screen was cracked. Please help me.

I don’t think that the breakage is covered in the warranty. But still you can see if your laptop is under warranty. If that is under warranty then you can make a contact with the Toshiba support and ask them about the same. See what they can help you. As the physical damage is not covered under warranty then they will charge you for that but your laptop will be recovered properly without any problem. According to me, this will be the best way for you and you should do this first before doing anything else to your laptop.

I heard from a Toshiba Technical Assistance Customer Representative that if there was no break to the case otherwise insides of your laptop then the break to the screen might have been originated through the manufacturing fault and there was completely nothing which you could do to resolve it yourself. He said that he will provide me a factory-authorized fix number to take to resolving place. I went there and the problem was fixed there. So you should do the same to see if that helps you as well.

I had mostly the similar thing occur to me by means of my 3 month old Toshiba. They required $425 to resolve it and said their policy is without exceptions for solving an LCD screen beneath warranty. I did not do anything to it. I switched it off and put it by my chair like I have been doing through my laptops normally. I switched it on subsequent day to blotches as well as rolling screen. I am thinking to catch it up to a monitor as well as keyboard to observe if it works that method, but I am going to protest to Toshiba, my state's section of consumer protection and make out what further feat may be probable. I speculate if this is a identified trouble that they could hold. I consider my laptop is faulty.

The glass screen lying on your Toshiba Satellite laptop is enormously breakable so it is no doubt that unintentional break results within thousands of Toshiba Satellite L30 broken screen cases every year. If you encompass a broken screen since you pushed the lid down when there was somewhat on keyboard otherwise dropped your Toshiba Satellite laptop. You need not to worry regarding having to purchase an costly fresh laptop. Creative IT can put back the broken screen on the presented Toshiba Satellite laptop for less than charge of a fresh laptop.

Problems for the broken Toshiba Satellite laptop screen can have other causes apart from physical injury. If a laptop screen that is physically intact or has no display or show a distortion of the screen with weird lines and colors, it is likely that the internal component failure is causing the problem. Very often these problems get broken screen to be caused by a faulty inverter, which supplies power to the screen. The good news is that investors may be repaired or replaced quickly and cheaply so in this case, the Toshiba Satellite L30 broken screen issue can be resolved without having to replace the screen

We have similar issue with Toshiba L655-03F bought from Future Shop. Our happen to die after leaving it on all night and it went to sleep mode or shut itself down. Next morning we close the lid and went to work only to return at night to find the lcd panel inside is cracked and bleeding over 3/4 of the screen like car windshield crack.
Future Shop technician accused my neighbor of dropping it and told her it is not covered by warranty. It will cost her $425 for repairing it when she even spent $159.99 for 2 additional yrs of Proctection Service Plan.
I file BBB complaint already, waited 3 days for Toshiba to call back but no reply. I was wondering if anyone knows who makes this component so we can file class action lawsuit. Who would it be directed to Toshiba or manufacturer of that component or the retailer?
As a tech I would love to service her and charge her $50 for it plus component $150, but to me that is just unethical to treat a single mother.

    Hi anh2,

First of, if there is no physical damage done to the laptop, then the computer technician has to repair the laptop in the warranty terms and conditions, if the laptop is under warranty as such, if it is not then charges are to be made. Secondly, you must have all the receipts and details at the time of filing the case, which will be helpful. Normally, laptop screens are very costly and therefore buying another laptop would be a better choice rather than repairing it.
