Cannot start wifi in iPhone 3G

I have recently updated my iphone 3G 4.0.1 iOS version from 4.0 version. After the successful upgrade everything works well except my wifi is not working properly. It was fine before the upgrade. But suddenly the wifi signal dropped and so far unable to fix it. I tried changing the settings manually, but not make it work. Reset my phone and trying to connect different devices, but may not be able to establish the connection. I'm still seeing the wifi like falling in the signal. What you say about this? Is there any solution for this problem? I hope that I would not upgrade to the latest version until acknowledged by some persons known or users.

I updated my iphone with this version, but I have not had any problems. Everything works better than before, in fact, faster too. I think this update was not doing well enough and imperfect update can cause this type of case in applications. After updating is a process of rebooting for iPhone. I think I may know about it. There are hard reboot by holding down the power button and the Start button. Keep pressing until the reset screen several times. If it is doing for these grouping then let it go. This feature was not integrated in the model. Reboot the phone and this will restart the whole thing to its default settings.

To me it seems that the wifi signal locked the phone for this network configuration to restore on your iPhone. To do this, open Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings. “This option will delete all information along with passwords and allows stable connection between two wifi. If this fails, then you need to reset the phone all the default settings.

There is a possible ideal answer to the problem of wifi. It is to reset the phone as a new device that is not the source of the backup. But there are several problems through the implementation of this process. You will be the loss of all data such as contacts, messages and any other information, but usually this problem will be solved 90% as my concern. To do this you need computer connected to your iPhone and the latest version of iTunes installed on it. Open iTunes and assume that your phone is duly recognized by him. Click "Restore settings> as a new phone." This will take some time to make a new device.
