Need help with Nintendo 64 Controller

I have decided to buy a Nintendo 64. But for that I am not able to decide what accessories should I will need to buy with it. I also want some extra controllers for it but I do not have much choice for that. Also I want to know which games I should buy with this. The same doubts go with the memory card and paks expansion. I need some simple instructions that can help me to get what exactly I want to get more fun on N64. What you recommend me the most to buy and does the Nintendo 64 Controller work fine without any issue on it.

When you buy a Nintendo 64 it already comes with 1 controller. In addition to that you get more four slots for controllers. So here you get option to buy three extra controllers for the system if you want. If you are going to play by yourself then there is no need to spend money on an extra controller. I will recommend you buy at least one extra controller so that you can play with your friend. You can buy the same from the Nintendo shop or any better gaming store. There are ample of controllers available.

Re: Need help with Nintendo 64 Controller

My friend has just recently bought the first EAXUS controllers for the N64 system. And the controller is not so good as the original one which I got from Nintendo at the time of purchase. The processing and the stick control's goes out of hands sometime. There not so smooth as my original one. To make things worse, the first controller which I got with the system is already broken and I will need to stick with this poor one. This is really very frustrating.

Choosing games for Nintendo 64 is a kind of biggest decision at the time of purchase. No one wants to waste money for bad games. The first way to choose games is to go online and search for top games for N64. I am sure that you will get ample of choices for that. You can begin with sports game that are much better at the starting and you can simply choose your favorite sports game. The second option for choosing your games is start with a list of most popular games released on the Nintendo 64 like for example Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, Mario Kart, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros., Perfect Dark and Mario Party.

You can buy controllers which not supplied by Nintendo. They are called as third-party controllers and you must know what is the difference between the original and others. Nintendo controllers are more reliable and more comfortable while the third-party controllers are less expensive. I buy Nintendo brand controllers only because I think they are worth to buy with some extra money. They give much better reliability and responsiveness on the game.

Yes I will recommend you to choose the original controllers only. The new are much better and comfortable. The original might cost extra but worth to buy. The same is also applicable for games and memory cards. The expansion pak is needed for some games like Perfect Dark and Donkey Kong, but most games do not need it. You can buy tons of other accessories for the Nintendo 64, but the two most popular are the Rumble Pak and GameShark.
