Got my E7 !

Hey guys... just got myself an E7 cause of the awesome hardware that it has ( yes i love that full aluminum build ). Caused me to change from a long time follower and first time poster on the site lol


First impressions :

1. Awesome hardware feel !

2. Much faster and better OS than previous versions.. i seriously feel that people are judging symbian on the basis of v5 which admittedly wasn't too good.

3. Decent enough camera... takes great video

4. HDMI mirroring ! Woot ! Now i can easily edit my document files etc and of course make use of the multimedia capabilities too by just connecting to hotel tv screen when travelling !

PS : Could someone set me up with a wifi tethering app for this phone ?

Had been reading up on some apps previously.. bought myself a license for Gravity , a twitter app. Must say i'm very pleasantly surprised by the experience.

Going to test out a Qt based Facebook app called Kasvopus now. Any others you recommend ?

Try out pixelpipe for media sharing. Works brilliantly. Mind answering some questions about the phone ?

Considering that this is being sold as a "business phone" , is there any specific software bundled in which makes it so ?

Thanks... will test out Pixelpipe soon. The photo browser does seem to have a social sharing aspect built in. Will let you know how both play out.

As for included software.. there seems to be pretty much everything to cover the basics in here.

I see a full document reader AND editor which is pretty good. There is a PDF reader , dictionary , calculator , a voice control app which i just played around with (VLINGO , works quite well ! )

Cool.. do tell me if you are able to get MFE working properly.. i had some issues with it on my N8 but i believe an update has been pushed out for the E7 which corrects this.
