I just update my mobile phone that is Samsung Galaxy through Samsung Kies. My phone’s model no is GT-I9000 and version is 2.2. At what time I upgrade my phone then after completing the up gradation the market application was gone. I never saw this kind of problem before yet. That’s why I do not have any idea how to solve this problem so please let me any clue if you have. It will better for me.

To get the Market application back, without doing any hard reset. First install a file manager like. Estrongs or Astro . To make it less difficult load the Estrongs from any official site and follow the instruction which is given in it and once you complete the downloading process on your computer then transfer it among e.g. bluetooth or USB to your mobile phone and install it in your mobile phone. It was help in my case I hope this will help you also.

I had the same issue as you said. As per my experience I would like to suggest you for this problem you have to install the file manager and then after installing the File manager follow the following steps.
    • Try to open internal memory source
    • Find the way to /system/application
    • Find the place where Vending.apk is present
    • Press on it to install it

It may force shut the initial time you run it but the next time it should work

I agree with above post you should to follow the instruction as said in above post and If you at rest encounter Force Close or download problems then Do the following (you may need to do it anyhow as it is sometimes superior to start among a clean slate)
    • go into the Settings then try open the Applications and then find Manage Applications
    • select All
    • locate Market
    • set in motion on it and select Clear data

Now it should work as advertised.

As you said about the problem I read and I reade above given all solution. I also agree with this but if you do not solve this then I guess you do not reboot the phone after cleaning the date. Because I also did the same mistake. In my case with my mobile phone I forgot to boot the mobile phone after Clearing the data, so it just my assumption. I do not know if it helps or not but in case you did not do it may be worth a try. I hope this will help you.
