iPad2: Video chat solutions

Interested in trade iPad2 but was speculating regarding the non-connectivity FaceTime iPad2 or iPhone 4 devices. What programs are there for Mac is compatible with FaceTime (iChat?), or if I use other applications on the FaceTime iPad2 for video chat? Anyone has any idea about this?
