Triple channel RAM not working in MSI x58 Pro-E motherboard

I am using X58 Pro-E with the new bios update of version 8.3, 3x1GB G. Skill-RAM. Basically, I cleared the CMOS many times. The BIOS is updated, etc. But I see only 2 GB of RAM in Dual Channel mode. When I go to memory information in the configuration of MB, I can see DIMMs 1, 3, 5 with the RAM modules. WHY it’s showing me 2 GB? All helps are appreciated. I'm about to return the RAM and get new ones unless someone can give me a good solution. I am waiting for your replies. Thank you.

re: Triple channel RAM not working in MSI x58 Pro-E motherboard

When I first got the motherboard that I installed the RAM in slots 2, 4, 6 and my cpu would make three short beeps. It took about an hour to realize that it would not work that way and I had to use a DIMM in the configuration. So that option is out of question. I try to check the RAM one by one, but I doubt that one of the tabs is not working properly because I've mixed and matched to a lot now. When I go home, I'll take the entire RAM out and put one at a time and see what happens to me. I think you are doing something similar like this so please check it again. Thank you.

re: Triple channel RAM not working in MSI x58 Pro-E motherboard

How could it be the problem with the CPU? I never took into account. I checked the BIOS settings, slots 1, 3, 5 numbers report indicating that the RAM is detected. I changed the CAS latency 7-7-7-18 (which is what RAM is.) Not sure if I did well or not, but I am still 2 GB. What is wrong with the motherboard? The RAM is detected and no lights indicating a problem of DRAM. Is it the brand? Does anyone have the settings with G Skill 3 x 1 GB or any other brand of RAM? Please help me out to solve this. I am waiting for replies.

If the RAM in the BIOS does not appear or work properly in the black slots A0 B0 and C0, then either a RAM module can be bad, or the advice is bad, or the speed of RAM and the times are out of track. To begin, I would like to put the time in advanced DRAM settings. Memory 1N to 9 September 9 1924. Ratio to 4 to 8 Uncore Value, leaves DRAM V. by car or 1.5v, and then checks it. If it works without any error, then change the times for 1N 8 8 8 21, the memory ratio of 5, 10, DRAM Value Uncore V. 1.50 V or 1.55 V or 1.60V.Please check that Spread Spectrum is off and the core clock is 133. Your PC3 10666 (1333 rated) chips and modules under timed 1066 modules.

First look and see CPU-Z recognizes that there are 3 GB of RAM, Windows and the BIOS do not. Also, the slot 1 and 3 has the information of RAM, but not the groove 5. In its place is in slot 7! You'll also notice that has been set at two channels. I tried to manually adjust the CAS Latency things as the person suggested. I want to save the BIOS and then go back and see the menu ... Z RAM still show 9-9-9-24. The frequency would change, but that's it. I am very frustrated and I'm about to return this RAM only new egg and get new ones that are CAS 9 and be done with it.

Re: Triple channel RAM not working in MSI x58 Pro-E motherboard

For fun, I bought 3 GB of RAM 9-9-924 of Corsair brand. I plugged in hoping to get 3 GB ... 2GB yet. So I plugged in the other 3GB GSkill which I had. Want to know the total RAM in Bios? 4 GB. It seems that the last two channels do not work. My BIOS is updated with the latest 8.5 BIOS version. Do not know what to do except RMA board. Are they going to replace my first board and I have to mail it to them first? Please help me I am out of ideas now.
