Which powershot to select?

I am pretty confused about which powershot to select? I have the old S2 IS and I think it is getting old and now I am thinking to buy a new powershot camera for myself. So that’s why I have fixed upon two choices Sx20 and the SX 30. So which of the two one is better? Which of the picture quality is better? Well I have heard some good reviews about both of them now I am pretty confused about which one to go with, photography is my best passion and I like outdoor photography. So suggest me with which option should I go here? If you any thoughts or suggestions that you would like to share with me then do let me know about it.

Definitely I would not advice you to go with the SX 20, it is the worst powershot camera that I have come across for cannon. The Sx 30 is a good camera when compared with the Sx 20. Some of the disadvantages of the camera is that it does not have a good shooting ability and I think it is less than 1 frame per second. The image quality is no doubt the best one in the Sx 30 and that is something that you can count on. So if you ask me I would advise you to select the Sx30. Anyways that’s my opinion now its upon you to decide with which one you would like to go.

Even I agree with the above user that sx 30 is the better one than the sx 20. I think you will get the Sx 30 in around $ 329. It is in a good demand these days in the market. So that’s why I advise you to get it before it runs out of stock from the market. So that’s what I have to say here. The image quality is good and some of the other features of this camera is that it has a good zooming facility, it performs really very well in the low light also, the flash of the camera is really good. Sx 20 does not have any such features that I have mentioned above. So this is what I have to say here.

I also agree that Sx 30 is a good and a better choice. So that’s what I have to say here. One more thing that I would like to say here is that if you want to have a look at the other cameras that will be much competitive to the level of the Sx 30 then I would say that Nikon P100, Fuji HS10 and Panasonic FZ40 are the good choices to make. Then there is Sony’s HX100v with the ultra zoom capacity to offer you a much better view of the image. So these are the options that you can consider for the selection of any good camera .

I need to ask this question with you all. Yesterday while I was reading my favorite magazine PC world. I happened to come across a review of the G12. The review was good and I thought the features an also the specification of the G12 was in fact much lower than the Sx 30. Still the price of G12 was much higher than the Sx 30. So why is it that? Why is it priced more than the Sx 30? I did not figure out any specification which is more in the G12. So anyone having any idea why is it so then do let me know about it.

I have an answer for your question. It seems that you have not read the review carefully. It is clearly mentioned that G12 has a much larger sensor, the advantage of the sensor is that it will give you a better image quality. This particular feature is actually called as the main feature of this camera and hence that’s what the primary reason behind the high price of the camera. So I hope you have got the exact answer for what you were looking for.
